Identification of Parts:
Each DOHR slurry pump has a unique name and a three-digit basic part number. For example, the expeller of every warman pump has the basic part number of 028, and EAM028 means the the expeller of either 6/4E or 8/6E slurry pump.
Expeller Seal:
Expeller seals are designed to reduce bypass pressure fromthe pump into the gland or rotary sealing area of the pump, to achieve through a combination of centrifugal force and component tolerance.
Expeller seals rely on pump speed and the tolerance between the housing and expeller face to maintain performance. One of the main drabacks of expeller sealing is the compromise that needs to be made between pump performance and sealing performance.
Assemble remaining O-rings and shaft spacers, which fit between shaft sleeve(075) and expeller(028), fit expeller (028) to shaft, and move into contact with end of shaft sleeve, compressing assembled parts.
