China slurry pump parts: how to adjust impeller clearance
The impeller of the rubber bushing pump must have equal clearance with the front and rear guard plates.
1. Rotate the shaft to rotate clockwise, and move the bearing assembly (component) forward by turning the nut (key 001) on the rear and top of the adjustment bolt. Until the impeller and the front guard rub against each other.

a), metal bushing pump
Loosen the nut just tightened by half a turn, and then tighten the front nut to move the bearing assembly backwards until the lug of the bearing body contacts the rear nut.
b), rubber bushing pump
Measure the distance between the back of the bracket and the back of the end cap.
After completely loosening the rear nut, turn the shaft by hand to rotate clockwise. Turning the front nut can move the bearing components backwards until the impeller and the rear guard start to rub.
Measure the distance from the back of the bracket to the back of the end cap again. Calculate the average distance (gap) and adjust the bearing components forward according to this distance.
3. Tighten the gland bolt 012 on the B end, and the bolt on the A end has already been tightened (refer to Figures 12 and 18).
4. Tighten the two adjusting nuts in the direction of the lugs of the bearing body.
5. Turn the shaft. If friction is found, readjust it as described above.
6. Remove the shaft wrench from the shaft.

When all pumps are installed in the factory, there is an arrow mark on the bearing body (004), so that when the clearance of the impeller adjustment is checked, the correct relative position relationship to the bracket can be displayed.
Please check whether the adjustment device is damaged during transportation and installation.
(Please also note that this arrow is only used for assembly in the factory. It is not for the purpose of actual use after the pump is installed, readjustment due to wear, and replacement of grinding parts).
After completing the above process, the pump can be used.
