2) Check whether the elastic pad in the coupling is complete and correct. 

3) Check whether the rotation of the motor shaft and the pump are concentric. 

4) There should be no tightness or friction in the pump of the handcart (including the motor). 

5) Check whether the bearing box is filled with bearing oil to the position indicated by the oil mark. 

6) Before starting the slurry pump, the shaft seal water must be opened (the mechanical seal is cooling water). At the same time, the pump inlet valve should be expanded and the pump outlet valve should be closed. 

7) Check if the valve is flexible and reliable. 

8) Others, such as anchor bolts, flange gaskets and bolts. Whether the piping system, etc. are installed correctly, firmly and reliably.

2. Start-up operation and monitoring 

1) Before starting the operation of the slurry pump, the pump inlet valve should be opened and the pump outlet valve should be closed. Then start the pump. After the pump starts, slowly open the pump outlet valve. The size and speed of the pump outlet valve should be controlled by the pump without vibration and the motor does not exceed the rated current. 

2) The start of the pump for series connection also follows the above method. Only after starting the first-stage pump, the outlet valve of the last-stage pump can be opened a little (the size of the opening is preferably based on the current of the first-stage pump motor as 1/4 of the rated current), and then the second-stage and third-stage can be started one after another. Until the final pump and the series pump are all started, the outlet valve of the large final pump can be gradually opened. The size of the valve opening should be controlled by the pump not vibrating and the pump motor of any stage not exceeding the rated current. 


3) The slurry pump is mainly for the purpose of conveying flow, so it is best to install a flow meter (meter) in the operation monitoring system to monitor whether the flow meets the requirements at any time; in the pipeline system and slag flushing system equipped with cyclones In the filter press dehydration system, a certain pressure is also required at the outlet of the pipeline. Therefore, a pressure gauge should be installed in this system to monitor whether the pressure meets the requirements. 

4) In addition to monitoring the flow and pressure, the motor should also monitor the motor not to exceed the rated current of the motor during operation. Monitor the oil seals, bearings, etc. at any time for normal conduction, pump evacuation or overflow pool, etc., and deal with them at any time. 

3. Routine maintenance of the slurry pump 

1) The suction pipeline system of the pump is not allowed to have air leakage, and the inlet grid of the pump pool should meet the requirements of the particles that the pump can pass, so as not to cause large particles or long fiber materials to enter the pump. Clogged. 

2) Replace vulnerable parts in time, maintain and assemble correctly, adjust gaps reasonably, and avoid tight and abrasion phenomena. 

3) Bearing water pressure and water volume must meet the regulations, adjust (or replace) the tightness of the packing at any time, and do not cause shaft seal slurry leakage. And replace the shaft sleeve in time. 

4) When replacing the bearing, make sure that the bearing assembly is dust-free and the lubricating oil is clean. When the pump is running, the bearing temperature is generally not more than 60-65 ℃, and the highest is not more than 75 ℃. 

5) To ensure the coaxiality of the motor and the pump, and to ensure that the elastic pad in the coupling is complete and correct, it should be replaced in time after damage. 

6) Ensure that the pump components and piping system are installed correctly, firmly and reliably. 4. Disassembly and assembly of slurry pump 

1) Disassembly and assembly of pump head The disassembly and assembly of the pump head and the clearance adjustment should be carried out according to the assembly drawing.
