1) It must be ensured that the direction of the slurry pump is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the bracket. The motor must be completely disconnected from the pump during trial rotation. It is strictly forbidden for the motor to drive the pump shaft to rotate in the opposite direction, otherwise it will cause damage to the parts.
2) For pumps with packing seals, packing must be added as required before driving.
3) Pumps with mechanical seals must ensure the supply of shaft seal water. It is strictly forbidden to run without water, otherwise the mechanical seal will be burnt out.
4) For pumps with thin oil lubrication, add oil according to the oil level line of the oil standard before starting the pump. It is strictly prohibited to drive without oil, otherwise, the bearing will be burnt out.

1) Check before installation
The pump has been inspected and tested before leaving the factory. To ensure that it is in good working condition, it must be installed correctly. 2) Installation and alignment of the pump
The horizontal pump unit should be installed using the secondary grouting method. After installation, the centerline of the unit should be consistent with the centerline of the foundation; the deviation of the center of the unit above the design value should be no more than +/-2mm, and the horizontal tolerance of the unit should be 0.1/1000.
For belt-driven pump units, the parallelism between the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be ensured, and the belt pulley is usually used for alignment. If the center distance is small, you can use a straightedge to align the end face of the flat pulley.
3) Configuration requirements for the inlet and outlet pipe sections of the slurry pump
The suction pipe diameter should be the same as the pump inlet diameter or slightly larger than the pump inlet diameter. The principle is to avoid cavitation caused by the pump, and the slurry cannot form deposits in the pipeline. A telescopic joint should be provided between the suction port of the pump and the suction pipe to facilitate disassembly and assembly of the pump.
The diameter of the discharge outlet pipe is related to the sedimentation flow rate of the slurry properties. Under normal circumstances, the discharge pipe diameter should be equal to or slightly larger than the outlet diameter of the pump. The outlet gate valve should have the same diameter as the discharge pipe. The pressure gauge is located on the straight pipe section between the pump outlet and the first valve.
