Check before vertical pump operation
1. Check whether all the bolts of the slurry pump are fastened, especially the corner bolts must be fastened reliably
2. The pipeline, gate valve and pump must be supported separately, and flange bolts must be tightened to avoid slurry leakage
3. Check whether the direction of rotation of the motor is consistent with the direction of the arrow of the pump. When testing, the motor should be separated from the pump.
4. For direct drive, check whether the elastic cushion in the coupling is complete and correct; for belt drive, check whether the belt is worn, insufficient, and tight.
5. Check whether the motor shaft and pump shaft are concentric; whether the pulley is aligned
6. Turning by hand, there should be no tightness and friction between the pump and the motor
7. Check whether the lubrication system is filled with grease or oil
8. Before the
slurry pump is started, the shaft seal water must be opened (the mechanical seal is cooling water), the water must be clean, and the water pressure must be appropriate (the water pressure of the packing seal and the single-sided mechanical seal is greater than the pressure of the pump chamber 0.1-0.15Mpa). To open the pump inlet valve, desulfurization pump, close the pump outlet valve
9. Check whether the valve is flexible and reliable
